Safari Helicopter ("we", "us") operates this website. We are a helicopter kit manufacturer in Marianna, Florida, not an advertising business. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
What we collect
The site has two forms. Nothing else on the site asks for personal information.
- Contact form. Your name, email address, an optional phone number, the subject you choose and your message.
- Newsletter signup. Your email address and the page you signed up from.
- Technical details. When either form is submitted, our server sees your connection's IP address. We use it only to limit how many submissions one connection can send in an hour, and it appears in the standard server log alongside the request.
How we use it
- Contact form details are used to reply to you and to follow up on your inquiry.
- The newsletter address is used to send factory news, event dates and owner stories, no more than about once a month.
- We do not use either for profiling or automated decisions.
Submissions are delivered to us by email. When outgoing email is not configured, the submission is written to our server's log instead, where we read it. Either way it stays on systems we control or with our email provider.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation, typically while you are a prospective or current owner.
- Newsletter addresses are kept until you ask to be removed.
- Server logs, including the IP address noted above, are rotated on a short cycle and are not archived long-term.
Cookies and tracking
Fonts and images are served from our own server, so viewing a page does not send a request to a font or analytics network. If we ever add analytics, we will update this page first.
Third parties
Some pages link to, or embed video from, other sites such as YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, and to our insurance and dealer partners. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Embedded video loads only when the page containing it is viewed.
Your choices
- You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- To stop the newsletter, email us and we will remove your address.
- You can always call instead of using a form.
